A very beautiful faux Tortoise Shell cigarette box, with what appears to be Dureum black enamel side accents.
The exact creator of this piece is unknown, although it bears a strong resemblance to items attributed to both Ronson, as well as Hermes.
Late 19th through early 20th century.
Good condition with some loss of finish. Feet don't sit squarely - i.e one foot is raised slightly in the air while the other feet sit upon the surface.  Dent on one side of the enamel. Exhibits signs of age such as surface wear and weathering. As they are part of the description, please enlarge all photographs to better ascertain details and condition.
