Antique real amber gold filled cigar holder w/ original case

Description

An ornate gold filled acanthus leaf decoration tops this antique amber cigar or cheroot holder. The holder rests in a beige velvet lined case with "Real Amber" marked inside. The outer of the case is leather over wood with a brass push-button closure.
The gold ring and ornamentation tested as gold fill (no hallmark). The old amber specimen has nice translucency and is a lovely golden orange hue. The 3-inch long holder has a 1/2 inch opening to hold a small diameter cigar and has a rounded bowl and drilled hole to the mouth piece.
The mouthpiece has a tiny chip and slight irregularities to its hole shape. There is some visible residue inside. There are surface scratches and hairlines within the amber and other minor surface wear and patina to the gold fill. Please see photos for condition and below for more detailed measurements. This piece is in good vintage condition for its age.
