    Description

    A lovely antique English genuine amber cigar/cheroot holder, with solid 15 carat gold (tests) fitting. Complete with its original fitted box. It dates from around 1870/80 and is in average condition, with light tooth marks to the tip and some denting to the gold band. It weighs 6.9 grams unboxed and measures 2 ¾ inches long, the strongly tapered holder opening being 8.5 mm in diameter. The final photo shows it with a US penny (1 cent) coin for scale, which measures 19 mm / ¾ of an inch diameter.
